Often we place attachments on your teeth and that can be used effectively as a bit of a handle for the aligner to move the teeth in a certain way. We’re asked often, can you have a case without attachments?
The short answer is, it depends. It depends on whether that case is even doable without the attachment. Sometimes we really need that extra bit of purchase to get that movement that we’re after. And sometimes we can get away without the attachment, but it might take a bit longer or you may end up having to accept a compromised end result.
