This is a common question we’re asked by dentists: I have composite bonding, will I be able to have Smilelign? In this video, we explain how dentists should think about this in practice.
More patients are having composite bonding work done. And for those who are less aware, bonding is effectively aesthetic adjustment of often the tips of the teeth to build them up and just to make them look more uniform. Now, this doesn’t necessarily impede you from having aligner treatment. However, if it’s extreme composite bonding where a lot of the tooth surface is being covered or amended, then that may impact the ability or feasibility of being able to have clear aligner treatment.
